Address Changes

Another thought regarding the change of addresses. The concept of updating all policies with that lists the same person and it appears it matches is a great concept. During the example provided, the requester was matching the last four digits of the SSN, how do you know that is the same person? Someone can have the same name, and SSN and it would seem to be the same person, when the SSN as an example was miss keyed. I would think you would want to review the full SSN, dob, etc. to make sure we have the right person.

I worked for a company where there was two clients, they had the same first, middle and last name, same dob, the SSN was the same except for one digit was different, they lived on the same street (opposite ends of street), yet they didn’t know each other. (True Story). Even though this may be rare, it can happen and I’ve seen were names and info are similar, (close info matching). Just an idea.
